The Icing on the Cake purchases their fresh produce from Western Australia.
Fresh Free Range Eggs. Flour grown by our Western Australian farmers and from our South West, pure creamy butter, fresh cream and milk.
We pride ourselves on supporting Western Australian growers and producers first.
When a particular product is not produced here in Western Australia, we support the companies that support Western Australian employment.
The Icing on the Cake does not use any packet or pre mixed cakes.
Our cakes are created from the finest ingredients and baked fresh for each order. Only our Gourmet Rich Fruit cake is baked one month before your celebration.
We also offer our clients our selection of Gluten, Dairy and Egg Free cakes in most flavours.
We use only Cadbury 11% Alkalised Cocoa Powder. This Cocoa in particular, produces the darkness of colour and the strong chocolate flavour.
Our Rich Chocolate Cake is moist and not heavy like a mud cake but not light like a sponge. Covered with chocolate ganache our rich chocolate cake is delectable with or with out the final covering of either fondant icing or butter cream.
This Rich Chocolate Cake can be blended with pure peppermint essence for a mint chocolate flavour or with fresh orange which gives the jaffa taste everyone loves.
Do you like chocolate sultanas, then our Chocolate Sultana cake is for you.
Not into dark chocolate, here at The Icing on the Cake, we have developed a dense rich white chocolate cake that melts in your mouth add to this either Macadamia, Hazel or Almond nuts for the White Chocolate experience.
Our Gourmet Rich Fruit cake is made from the highest grade dried mixed fruit which is marinated until the mixed fruit is plump and moist. We then blend the marinated fruit with Western Australia’s finest ingredients and bake one month before your special day giving it a full bodied flavour.
This is the only cake we bake ahead of your wedding day or celebration.
